Update 3.5 Out!
It's out and on the app store. See the iTunes page for more info! In brief:
- Hookbot's now ghost immune on all levels.
- Only humans can pick up the Forbidden Hats.
- Hookbot has a new item that grants lava and acid immunity.
- OpenFeint leaderboards fixed for the newest levels.
- The first performance fix.
We have another performance fix if people are still having problems. It's a very tricky issue to fix. It's a combination of rarity and that if you're not one of the people hit by this lag issue, it actually makes the game run faster for you.

Great update.
So, whens this leader board reset!?!?
Also Kepa... Can you post the 3rd Hatbox map. I am unable to pass 50% of it WITH HOOKBOT Fire proof. While I have gotten top score on every other map with Gunny.
There's one part where there's lava and theres.. well can you make a youtube video or something... I think it's impossible.
Uhhh, I bought the DLC for the Carmen Sandeigo lookin lady...and it's not showing up in game...please advise!

Excremento: Just try to purchase it again. It'll simply redownload it.
Joseph: They're slight hook and rope increases for each character. Top one is Jake only, second is Gunny, third is Hookbot, fourth is Zelle.
Darkened: Not sure which part you mean. Keep trying! Most people can get to 62% or so with Hookbot, to practice is.

I've gone on the TA forums and seen that it's not possible with Hook Bot. That cool with me, just have to get a bit better.
I've gotten all the Hats and special hook for Jake now, as well as every single upgrade to max.
My goal before update 4 is to have everything for all characters and the last two levels beaten.
I think you should add another achievement called Grand Hat Master - 50 OF points - Purchase all hats (For all of the characters)
Also add a Golden Ruby worth 10 and hide it somewhere in the game. Have an achievement for finding it.
Professional Explorer - 10 OF points - Found the Secret GOLDEN Ruby.
Quick question, can you play John Gore in all of the levels, or just his own? I know you can only play him in his own levels, but can he be used in other levels?
Side note, for Avalanche Hero err Avalanche Runner are you going to have beta testing and will it have it's own blog? So I can leave some cool feedback there?
Kepa, is the new immunity for Hookbot unlimited, or more like Jake's hot pants where it only works once?
We can't do a "purchase all hats" achievement for the same reason we can't do a "purchase all levels" achievement. We plan to support Hook Champ with updates indefinitely. That is, there's always the chance we'd add more levels or hats.
The Golden Ruby thing is exactly the kind of thing we're going to do for the next game.
John Gore is only played in his own levels, for reasons that will be pretty obvious when the update's out.
We're just going to use this blog for the next game and next game. I'm probably going to renovate the blog so it's for art/insider info/music/fan submissions only. Maybe this weekend.
aSko: If you pay 200 coins for Hookbot's immunity item, he becomes completely immune forever. He can walk around in lava and acid like other characters can walk around in water. The only thing that can possibly kill Hookbot at that point is touching the edge of the map in the Hatbox Levels.

I see, glad my Golden Ruby was a good idea ;)
I was also thinking what about a "water suit" for Jake only making you able to swim quickly in water, 400 gold.
And something similar for Gunny make her current snow suit make her able to run through snow quickly in the next snow update.
Another neat thing would be to make Zelle a COMBINATION of Jake and Gunny, she would have 5 rockets and 4 shot gun shells
Thanks for the update, guys! It's not perfect in terms of performance, but it was good enough for me to beat the silver hatbox, so I'm a happy man. Any tips on grabbing all those jewels up top in the golden hatbox? Anybody know? Or are you just teasin' us?
